Many of us have “hidden” talents that we keep locked away from the world, even though our deepest desire is to share them freely with everyone around us.
Whether it’s singing, dancing, painting, writing, or other divine gifts in which we excel, we choose instead to keep them bottled up.
So why is it that we would refuse to share something we’re good at, and enjoy doing, and know that other people would appreciate as well?
For most of us, the reason is fear.
Our Soul wants to shine brightly but our Ego is afraid of being rejected, laughed at, and otherwise looking bad in any shape or form.
We talk our Self into the idea that not sharing our talents is simply us being self-conscious, but the reality is that we are actually being selfish.
All of us are unique emanations of Source Energy, each one adorned with a set of expertise, aptitude, and genius that are intertwined with our Being. They are in our makeup and our DNA, a part of who we are, whether we like it or not.
Sure we can practice and get better, and learn new skills at any point in our lives, but it is our innate talents that shape who we are. And it’s important for us to realize that we received them as gifts of Creation, having nothing to do with how they became a part of us, just as we have nothing to do with the color of our hair, the size of our bones, the shape of our fingers, or any other aspect of our body.
So if we were given natural talents and abilities that we enjoy, and that would also be a welcomed contribution to share with others, then who are we to get in the way?!
The White Spectral Wizard reminds us to dissolve our Ego-driven fears so that we may release the enchanting magic that we have received from the divine.
Our Soul wants to be heard, and would prefer to share its voice with others instead of being relegated to the shower or a car with the windows rolled up.
Our Hearts want to shine, and would rather be put on display then buried in a drawer or locked up in a closet.
When we allow our Self to get out of our own way and release the art of our essence, the result is no less than liberation, a timeless moment where we get to experience Self-Actualization and connection with both our own Self and all the other Souls that have been waiting for us to show up.

- Share your True Self and hidden talents with others today, even if it’s in a bite-size chunk. If you’re a great singer, go do karaoke. If you’re a brilliant artist, draw a picture for a friend. Whatever it is, do not hoard the talents you received, instead opting to share with others.
